Everyone has experienced fear in one form or another. Maybe it's nervousness before test results come out, anxiety about a loved one's health, fear of what others might think, or worries about the future. The Bible is full of verses where God directly tells us not to worry, not to be afraid and not to be anxious.
So, how can we fight our fears and live as God's Word directs us to? Let us let our faith prevail over our fear. God wants us to be strong and courageous. Recognize that you can counter your anxious thoughts with the life-giving Word of God.
The next time you find yourself in a fearful or anxious situation, don't look at what might happen. Look at who God is and what he can do for you instead. Courage is not the absence of fear, but the determination to trust in a God who is greater than your circumstances. Don't let fear steal your joy of salvation. Remind yourself of what God has done for you thus far and trust in the promises He has proclaimed.
This morning we want to pray together saying: Heavenly Father, thank you for what you have done for me. Thank you for how you take care of my life. I want to trust You in everything. Help me to have full trust in You. In the Name of Jesus... Amen!
With love, Ivano Salerno
