Our God is truly an amazing and wonderful God.
We will face many challenges throughout our lives, not necessarily in the same way the Israelites faced them when they fled Egypt; or when they were taken into exile in Babylon; or when they were tortured by the Romans.
Waters, rivers, fire and flame represent all our difficulties, afflictions, anguish and persecutions.
But through it all, our God promises to be with us. It tells us to be strong and to have courage, not to fear, not to be afraid. God promises to be with us as he was with Moses.
We need not fear.
We don't have to "fear" anyone or anything. The Bible tells us
“You, do not fear, for I am with you; do not go astray, for I am your God; I strengthen you, I help you, I support you with the right hand of my justice.”.
No matter what happens, our God will accompany us in all the difficult circumstances we face in our lives. He will never leave us nor forsake us. He has a purpose and a plan for us. So fear nothing and trust in the Lord.
Today we want to pray together and say: God the Father, I thank you for how you encourage me. I want to trust only in You. Help me overcome everything with Your help. In the name of Jesus... Amen!
