David, in all his troubles, waited patiently on the Lord; he continued to believe, hope and pray. Doubts and fears creep into people's minds. They are like a horrible pit, like a muddy quagmire. In moments like these, it is easy to fall prey to the promises of the proud and those who follow lies.
But those who wait patiently for God will see his glory in their lives. Those who feel burdened, exhausted, tired in their lives are lifted up by God's grace and can testify to this. We have a God who gets us out of the muddy quagmire. God's power and abundant grace can help the weakest, who continue to trust in Him.
Christ is the Rock on which every poor soul can find salvation. When you put your hope in God, He fills you with His joy and His peace. Even if you go through difficult places, you will have peace because God will hold your hand and lead you to safety. By faith, in suffering, we have learned to fear the justice of the Lord and to trust in the mercy of God through Jesus Christ. If we hold on to our faith in Christ, our rock, we will see God's providence and grace upon us every day. Christ will lift you up and bring you out.
Together we pray to the Lord by telling him: God in heaven, thank you for how you hear my prayers and how you intervene in every situation. Help me to trust in You in every circumstance. In the name of Jesus... Amen!
