As long as we live in accordance with God's word, we will be blessed in whatever we do. James urges believers to delve deeper into the perfect law of freedom which is the word of God, to persevere in it and put it into practice.
We must never forget what the word of God teaches us. If we forget what we read in it, it is as if a person sees himself in the mirror and forgets what he looks like. It is not strange? If we don't keep God's word in our hearts, how can we face anything? How can we win the battles that arise every day? How can we pray for deliverance and healing if we do not base our faith on the promises of the Lord's word? Be careful not to forget the word of God. James encourages believers to practice what the word of God says. We must obey the word of God completely and not partially because even partial obedience is called disobedience.
In order to be blessed in all areas of life, we must commit ourselves to constant reading and meditation on the word of God. It must penetrate the depths of our hearts in order to apply it in any type of situation. When we do what God wants us to do and when we fully obey God as His word tells us, God will bless everything that concerns us and we will be a blessing to others too.
Today we want to pray together to the Lord saying: Father of Love, I come to You today praising You with all my heart. I wish to feed on Your word every day. Help me put your teachings into practice. In the name of Jesus... Amen!
