4 March 2024

Peace of the Lord and have a good start to the week everyone.
For today's "Bread from Heaven", Monday 4 March 2024, the thought I felt like sharing with you has as its key verse:
Deuteronomy 8:10 (NIV)

“When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the LORD your God for the good land he has given you.”

For many it is difficult to remain still in a culture that always talks about change, difficult to believe in what has been done in the past and difficult to understand what the future will bring. In today's world many of them live in a form of self-centeredness. It would be right to look much deeper and understand that self-centeredness is a reflection of one's own insecurity.
The trust they place in themselves, the trust they place in their goods and possessions is only due to the mistrust they instill in their hearts. This helter-skelter rush to provide for themselves, to be satisfied with themselves, only hurts their hearts. We all face challenges in life. In the midst of these impossible challenges and circumstances, we have a God who is in control, turning the impossible into “possible.” He manifests His power, directs our steps, and provides for our needs. Praising God for His providence is important. Let us always remember to give thanks to the Lord and bless his name, because He is worthy of it.

Today we want to pray together and say: God the Father, thank you for everything you do for me. Guide my life and help me face everything with Your strength. In the name of Jesus... Amen!
With love, Ivano Salerno
