The situation was impossible. It seemed like there was no chance for Marco and his family to get out of the mess they found themselves in. After losing his position as finance director of an international company, Marco had been out of work for months. He and his wife had done everything they could to manage their finances, but the bills, the loans, the taxes, the rent, kept piling up. They had reached the end of their resources, but they continued to hope that the Lord would do something for them.
How do you deal with a situation like this? The children of Israel had also reached the shore of the Red Sea, with no escape route and with the Egyptian army behind them. There was absolutely nowhere to go and no way for them to escape. Even Pharaoh was sure they were trapped. The people began to be afraid, they began to murmur, some doubted, others complained. It was up to Moses to remain calm in the midst of this turbulence, trying not to be either anxious or discouraged.
How did Moses manage to maintain that serenity? Because HE KNEW HIS LORD! He did not trust in his own abilities or wisdom, but leaned in faith on the Lord's guidance. What was important at that time was that all negativity be silenced, which is why he asked the people to stand still and put their trust in the Lord Most High! In the time of crisis, trust that the Lord is your deliverer and your salvation! The hand of the Lord is not too short to save, He is able to open a way even when there seems to be absolutely no other way.
Whatever situation you are facing today, stand still and know that HE is God. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, with all your mind, and with all your soul. He will intervene and save you!!!
Together we pray to the Lord telling him: God of heaven, I trust you to guide me every day. I trust that You will do great things in my life. Help me to have full trust in Your intervention. In the name of Jesus... Amen!
