IT WILL DRY EVERY TEAR

Peace of the Lord to all.
For today's family worship, Sunday 26 May 2024, I feel in my heart to share with you a thought which has as its key verse:
Isaiah 25:8 (NIV)

“He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people’s disgrace from all the earth. The LORD has spoken.”

In the world we live in, there are trials, tribulations, persecutions, defeats, tears. How many have been and still are martyred and promoted to glory after having fought their good fight of faith. The battle was really hard for some of them, however they did not give up. They remained faithful to God until their last breath of life here on earth.
There will be great joy when the dead in Christ are resurrected. Isn't this good news? One day he will return and take the church to heaven. All those who have died in Christ will be the first to rise from the dead, and those who are alive will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. There will be no more death. God will wipe the tears from the faces of His children. This is God's legacy and promise to the saints.
The problems we go through on this earth are only temporary. All will be taken away by God and His people will be granted perfect peace. They will experience joy in abundance, but until that day comes, let us wait patiently.

This morning we want to turn to God together and say: Lord God, thank you for everything you do for me. Make me strong in faith as I await the return of Your son. In the Name of Jesus... Amen!
With love, Ivano Salerno
