Human beings are said to have three basic needs: food, clothing and shelter. Besides that, they also need money to support themselves and their families. When we recognize that God answers our every need, we will discover that His provision is not tied to our bank account. God's providence reaches much deeper than our superficial needs, reaching the needs of the soul and spiritual ones.
What do you need on a daily basis? Most people need strength to get through the day, patience to deal with difficult people, encouragement when they feel down, healing when they get sick, and forgiveness when they make mistakes. Everyone also needs the wisdom to make the right decisions and the abundance of God's mercy and grace to fulfill His purpose in their life. God can provide all this and more – you just have to ask Him.
God already knows what you need. But when you open your mouth and ask Him, you strengthen your faith in the Lord. As you trust God and turn to Him in prayer, you will begin to experience His miraculous provision in your daily life.
This morning we want to pray together saying: Heavenly Father, thank you for Your word. Thank you for what you do for me. I wish to surrender my life to You. Provide for my every need. In the Name of Jesus... Amen!
