Our God is the One who provides for all our needs. He provides according to his glorious riches, in Christ Jesus. God does not have to wait for someone's approval to give us what we need.
Paul wrote to the church in Philippi, from which he had received goods through Epaphroditus. Paul was telling them that the Lord would bless them abundantly. Have you ever imagined what it means to receive from God's glorious riches? Some turn to God asking things as little children would ask their parents. A small child asks his parents for toys or chocolates because that's all his little mind understood about his parents, but when the child matures and becomes an adult, do you think the parents would be happy if their adult child asked for one more toy ? Surely not. Paul told the church in Philippi that God will provide for ALL their needs and not just one or two. EVERYTHING simply means everything. Whatever you may consider even impossible, God can do.
Trust in God with the certainty that He will provide for your every need.
Together we pray to the Lord telling him: God in heaven, thank you for what you give me day after day. I desire to rest in You knowing that You are at work in my life. Help me in my every need. In the name of Jesus... Amen!
With love, Ivano Salerno
