Solomon was one of the wisest men who ever lived. Yet, he too made mistakes. We see many wise and knowledgeable people around us in the world today. But many of them still do not have peace and joy in their lives. Being smart and having a lot of knowledge is not enough. What matters is what is in your heart.
When you trust the Lord Jesus Christ and allow Him to reign in your heart, He will grant you divine wisdom that surpasses the wisdom of this world. This morning's verse reminds us that God gives wisdom, intelligence, and joy to those He pleases. Jesus died for you on the cross to free you from the slavery of sin. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you every day.
The riches of God's wisdom will bring joy and cause you to make decisions that will bring glory to His Name. Do not seek the wisdom of this world; seek the Lord and He will make you wise.
This morning we want to pray together saying: Heavenly Father, thank you for your gifts. Thank you for the wisdom, intelligence and joy you grant me. Help me to trust you in everything. In the Name of Jesus... Amen!
