One of the most complicated feelings we can experience is guilt. If we feel guilty, there must be an accuser.
There have been many successful lawyers throughout history who became famous for the cases they won. Well, do you think any of them would be able to acquit you and me by the Righteous Judge? From the hand of God? No human being could be able to absolve us other than Jesus! Yes, Jesus Christ is our Advocate! We must remind ourselves every day that there is absolutely “no one” other than Jesus who can intercede with the Father for us.
Isaiah 50:8 prophesied about Jesus' authority: “Near is he who justifies me;
who can accuse me?”.
Jesus is our friend. A friend like no other. A friend who has already died for us, who sits at the right hand of God, who constantly intercedes for us, and “the only one” who has the power to save us. It is He who looks at us and says: you are mine and "I" have won for you!
Together we pray to the Lord telling him: God of heaven, I thank you for the way you speak to me. Your grace has transformed me. Help me to be faithful to You until the end. In the name of Jesus... Amen!
