God doesn't give us everything we want, so what do we do in times of trial and tribulation? Sometimes people get angry with God, they turn their backs on Him, they distance themselves from the Lord. As children of God we possess a powerful weapon called praise.
We always have a choice: we can choose to sulk about our situation or turn our battlefield into a playground of praise. It's true that life on this earth is full of difficult situations, but the choices we make during these crucial stages are what determine where our heart is and who we trust. Thinking about how our mind is always at work, especially when we have to think too much if not everything goes well, we can understand why discouragement often takes over. Someone said “Where the mind goes, man follows”. The truth is that as children of God we are separate from the rest of the world. We are guided by faith and not by fear.
It is time to remind ourselves that we are called to surrender and please God alone. By praising and placing our trust in the Lord alone, offering ourselves as a living sacrifice to the Creator who deserves all praise, honor and glory, we will discover that in all things God he is sovereign
Today we want to pray to the Lord together saying: Father of Love, thank you for how you speak to me through Your word. I want to praise you in every moment of my life. Help me face everything with Your support. In the name of Jesus... Amen!
