The devotion, the feeling of adoration and the full trust in the Lord that emerge from David in this verse are exemplary. He was always ready to praise the name of the Lord. Not “a” name, but “the” name, that name above all names.
Like David, we must be ready to worship and praise God by saying as written in Psalm 26:8: "O LORD, I love to dwell in your house, in the place where your glory resides." Always ready to worship and be grateful to God for His love, His mercy and His justice.
Like David, always be grateful to the Lord, saying as in Psalm 26:3: "For I have your kindness before my eyes, and I walk in your truth."
Like David, we can worship by raising our hands towards heaven, where our God dwells and where His mercy flows. Because as written in Psalm 138:6 "Yes, the LORD is exalted, yet he has regard for the humble, and he knows the proud from afar."
Today we want to pray together to the Lord saying: Father of Love, I adore You facing Your holy temple. I wish to celebrate your name for your goodness and faithfulness. Help me to always live a life consecrated to you. In the name of Jesus... Amen!
With love, Ivano Salerno
