THE POWER OF PRAYER

Peace of the Lord be to you. For today's "Bread from Heaven", Thursday 21 March 2024, I will read a passage that is written in the Word of God in:
Acts 12:70 (NIV)

“Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.”

The story of Peter being miraculously freed from prison is an extraordinary demonstration of God's power. But the angel did not suddenly appear. When we go back a couple of verses, we see that: “So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.”. The moment the early believers learned that Peter had been imprisoned, they began to pray for his release. They didn't know how it could happen, yet they prayed with faith, believing in the miracle.
We have all raised prayers without knowing how the answer could come. However, the strength of prayer does not depend on the one who prays, but on the One who hears our prayer. God hears every word you say, sees the tears you shed, and understands the silent cries of your heart.
If you are waiting for an answer to your prayer from God, don't give up just now. Keep praying, keep seeking God, and keep waiting for Him to work. Even as you wait, God will grant you peace in your heart and the strength to endure until you see His intervention.

Together we pray to the Lord telling him: God of heaven, I trust you to guide me every day. I trust that You will do great things in my life. Help me to have full trust in Your intervention. In the name of Jesus... Amen!
With love, Ivano Salerno
