Have you ever gotten lost in an unknown place? The navigation takes you to a place and you really don't know where you are... not a nice situation to be in. A life without Jesus is pretty much the same thing. We lose our way in this world, unsure of who we are and what we live for.
We thank God for His grace that has not left us without help. Although we were far from God, He found a way to bring us closer to Him. The blood of Jesus Christ broke the barrier of sin that caused a chasm between God and humanity. We who were once lost, alone and far from the Lord, have been brought near through the blood of Jesus.
Many of you are still praying for your loved ones to draw closer to Christ; don't lose hope. Continue to pray, continue to intercede for that friend, family member or colleague who is far from God. The grace of God that saved you can save them too. Continue to bring hope and truth into their lives. Be a living example of the transformation God can bring in a life dedicated to Him. Let God work. After all, the Lord loves them far more than you ever could.
Today we want to pray to the Lord together by saying: Father of Love, thank you for how you speak to me through Your word. I pray for my loved ones, that they may surrender to Your grace. Use me to announce to them the precious message of the Gospel. In the name of Jesus... Amen!
