Many praise the Lord in good times, but how many praise God in difficult times? Praise is a fundamental part of the Christian faith and our praise grows by encountering God and meditating on His Word.
Many are fixated on the results they see through their eyes, trying to fit logic and rationality into everything that awaits them. To give thanks to Him who is the creator of all things visible and invisible to man, we must take into account that God is in control of all the circumstances surrounding our lives. In 2 Corinthians 4:17–18 we are told, “For our momentary, light affliction produces for us an ever-increasing, immeasurable, eternal weight of glory, as we gaze, not on the things which are seen, but on those which cannot be seen. you see; for the things which are seen are for a time, but those which are not seen are eternal.”.
Let us give praise to God because He is worthy of being exalted! Let us sing hymns to the Lord and rejoice in Him.
This morning we want to turn to God together and say: Lord God, thank you for everything you do for me. I want to praise you with all my heart. Help me face everything with your strength. In the Name of Jesus... Amen!
With love, Ivano Salerno
