God is the Almighty, the Creator of all things, immense and sovereign over everything. This thought can put you in perspective of the greatness of our God and how we absolutely need His mercy.
The Bible says in Lamentations 3:22-23 that “Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
It is only because we have been justified by faith that we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Justified means that we are made righteous in the sight of God. Christ has given us this undeserved privilege, so if it were not for Him, our mediator, we could never enter into the presence of God. It is in Christ that we glory in the hope of glory of God.
It is wonderful to know that through Jesus we can have access to God's grace; that we are not condemned by our sins, but are justified by the blood of Christ Jesus which is the only way by which we can enter into the presence of God; by which we have access to the grace of God and obtain the gift of eternal life.
Today we want to pray together and say: Father God, thank you for all you do for me. Thank you for how you have graced me, giving me a new life in Christ Jesus. Help me to do your will in everything. In the name of Jesus... Amen!
