THE SEED DETERMINES THE HARVEST

Peace of the Lord to all.
For today's family worship, Sunday 14 January 2024, I feel in my heart to share with you a thought which has as its key verse:
Galatians 6:7 (NIV)

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”

Have you ever looked at a big old tree and wondered how long it's been there? It's amazing to think that that gigantic tree was once just a tiny seed. Likewise, our words and actions are seeds. We will always reap a harvest from what we sow.
Think about the types of seeds you have sown. Are you sowing encouragement, hope, blessing, love? Then this is what you will collect in the future. But if you've sown criticism, judgment, and anger, you're probably already reaping a bad harvest. It's time to start changing your seed.
Today I encourage you to pray and ask God to help you uproot any negative seeds you may have planted in the past and begin sowing good seeds for your future. If you remain obedient to God's Word, you will see those seeds grow. You will rise higher and enjoy the harvest of blessings that God has promised you.

This morning we want to turn to God together and tell him: Lord God, I ask you to search my heart. Show me all the bad seeds that need to be eradicated. Help me, through your Spirit, to plant good seeds in my life. Use me for Your glory. In the Name of Jesus... Amen!
With love, Ivano Salerno
