Joy is something that many would like to achieve in their lives. How many can really say they are happy in everyday life? In this morning's verse, Peter recalls a part of Psalm 16 in which David recognizes what truly makes him happy: the presence of God.
God is omnipresent, He is everywhere. But we can only experience the fullness of His presence when we personally seek Him. God wants to be involved in your daily life. He wants to be in touch with you as you go about your business. Don't limit His presence to just a few fragments of time. Allow it to have an active role in your life, throughout the day.
God's presence will provide you with everything you need. It will be your strength in difficult days. It will give you the wisdom to make the right choices. He will provide you with His strength to endure your trials. If you remain in communion with Him, He will fill your heart with joy. Start living in intimate communion with Jesus today and you will see His complete joy in your life.
Today we want to pray together and say: God the Father, today I need to feel you present within me. I wish to live a life where you guide me. Help me overcome everything with Your strength. In the name of Jesus... Amen!
