It is important to be trained in God's counsel and instructions in order to be wise for the rest of your life. Children should be taught in the ways of God so that they do not go astray as they grow up. How we raise our children is how they will live when they grow up.
Many parents have almost no time to sit down with their children to teach them the ways of God. Their children are pampered with money and gifts but without God. The Bible says to educate the child in the way he should follow and that when he is old, he will not turn away from it. Remember that children grow into adults and then take a different path in life because they were not given the right foundation as children. They didn't have a good start in their life. They have been left to make their own choices in life as they grow older, without being taught the ways of God. You are directly responsible for teaching your children in the ways of God, teaching them to respect and obey God. If you do , you will see many more men and women growing up dedicated to God in such a corrupt and sinful world.
Start by counseling and instructing the younger generation on how they should grow in the light of God's Word. Help someone walk in the ways of God while you yourself stand firm and strong in your faith in the Lord.
Today we want to pray to the Lord together saying: Father of Love, thank you for how you speak to me through Your word. Help me in knowing how to educate the new generations. I wish to consecrate my life entirely to You. In the name of Jesus... Amen!
