Everyone struggles, whether it's an unexpected challenge or just getting up every morning. Everyone tries to find a balance between their expectations and the results they get and this always brings a bit of bitterness.
So what can be done? How do you balance expectations and results? Promises raise expectations, we are all aware of this. So here's what we all need to know: God understands our hearts. The Bible tells us a lot about God's promises. He loves to give them and he loves to fulfill them. What a powerful legacy of hope we have in Christ! Yet many times God chooses to make promises and call us to new things in the midst of a time of difficulty.
Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters, to always check who you place your trust in. The world is full of false promises and deceptions. The psalmist David is an example of how faith and expectations in God helped him slay the giant in his life. May our souls wait in silence upon the Lord, as we place our expectations in Him alone, for He is faithful!
Today we want to pray together to the Lord saying: Father of Love, I come to You. I want to trust you. Guide my life in every circumstance. In the name of Jesus... Amen!
